Hi friend,

I want to step away from the buzz of daily life and simply talk with you for a moment. I encourage you to turn this into a conversation by interacting back with me, but if you choose not to, I appreciate you sharing this moment with me regardless.

Before I dive into the heart of what I want to share with you though, let’s take a moment to center ourselves and become present with one another.

Don’t worry, I’m going to be doing this with you too right now. You’re obviously not here in the room with me at this exact moment, but trust that time and space has brought my energy to support and guide you in this exact moment that you are reading this.

Now, I invite you to place your feet flat on the floor. We do this to physically ground our body into the present moment. To remind ourselves that we have mother earth below us. The earth below us is always here to support and catch us.

Now I’m going to invite you to set your laptop, phone, tablet, whatever receptacle you’re reading this from, down after you read the next steps.

Place one hand over your heart and one hand over your belly. We do this to connect with these part of our body. Our heart is the center of our deepest soul’s desires and our belly is the home of who we are. I’m having you place your hands here so that you can tune into these centers within your body.

Now closing your eyes, with your hands still in place, take 5 slow and deep breaths. Focus on your breath as if it were a vehicle traveling in through your nose, past your throat, into your chest, before dropping down into your belly and touching the base of your spine. I want you to place your awareness on your breath for these 5 long inhales and exhales. Feel free to sigh out your exhale, creating a little sound on the way out.

Are you ready? I’m setting my laptop down so that I can practice here with you. Remember, my energy is with you regardless of when you are reading this.

Let’s begin our 5 breaths, remember to have your feet firmly planted on the group and hold your spine nice and tall.

Welcome back, how are you feeling? Do you feel a little more centered and present? Does your body feel a little more soft and relaxed?

On my first breath I had a little bit of a release through a cough with some gunk that came with it. That might be a little TMI if this is the first time you’re interacting with me, but coughing up something is just a form of release and is a completely natural part of this human experience. This was simply an indicator that I was letting go of something that was ready to be set free.

I invited you to share this practice with me because what I am about to share with you requires a certain amount of presence. What I am about to share with you is intertwined with a piece of my heart. Part of discovering who I am and what my purpose is on this planet is learning how to share my heart with you in new ways, this being one of them.

2 years ago I found myself feeling stuck, unfulfilled, and yearning for the purposeful life I dreamt of as a little girl. Since I could remember, I always envisioned myself creating a large impact helping others, and yet found myself working the same 9-5 job I started straight out of high school, living paycheck to paycheck and focusing on simply “surviving.” I found myself feeling more stressed than purposeful on a daily basis. I felt the only thing I was a pro at was creating different masks I would put on to protect myself out in the world. Customer service Sam was one mask, perfect daughter who didn’t need her parents support was another, and my personal favorite? The mask I would put on with myself when pretending that everything was exactly as I deserved. I was living a life that felt dull because I was convinced that was all I deserved.

Have you ever felt that way? Like you could have more purpose in your life if only you were a little more worthy of it?

I feel you and share that with you, sister.

And let me tell you what happens when you call bullshit on that belief.

You quit your job without a backup plan, 5 months before your wedding to start your own business. You make the largest investment you have ever made in yourself (besides that one year at the college you decided to drop out of) to launch said business. You spend an entire summer dedicated to becoming aware of the beliefs you were taught as a child and commit yourself to rewriting your story into one that actually feels good. You laugh and you cry. You move across the state and learn to trust the universe when you feel unsure of your next move. You pick up side hustles along the way, but you never lose sight of your big vision. The big vision that became so clear once you started showing up for a daily practice that is dedicated to you. Your life becomes.. holyfuckingshitwhatjusthappened and who am I to embark on this wild journey??

Okay, maybe your journey of calling bullshit on yourself doesn’t have to be as dramatic as mine. It’s okay to take a gentler route, I really dove head first into my bullshit. And let me tell you, it’s no small feat friends. I faced demons I didn’t even know I had.

I share this with you to show you that it’s possible to scrap everything you have ever known in order to discover who you are and what you want to be doing with this one human life of yours. Because news flash, we weren’t created to work ourselves to death, maybe save enough to retire by the age of 70, and then die. No thanks. I am here for more than that. And since you are still here in this moment with me, I know you are here for more than that too.

I know that you have a vision. Maybe it’s been awhile since you visited with one another, but your heart and soul always remembers. If you’re having a hard time connecting with your vision, ask yourself, what lit you up as a child? What gives you that glowing feeling of excitement? What do you enjoy doing or have always felt called to doing? Your body gives you feelings as indicators. Meaning that when you feel excited and glowing, you’re experiencing something that lights up your soul purpose.

Healing Through Feeling is a 4 month program that is designed to support you in discovering more of who you are and what your purpose is here on planet Earth. You have a vision for the life you want to be living, it’s time to begin breathing life into that vision.

This looks like creating a safe container for your work and practice. In order for you to create the legacy you desire, you must have a foundation that holds you. Month one is focused around creating a safe space for you to show up to every day and how you can customize your space so that it is as unique as the you showing up to it. Month one’s medicine is foundation.

Month two focuses on feeling and entering into a contract with ourself. In order for us to call in our big vision, we must have the space to hold it. Think of a time that you felt an emotion, but didn’t feel safe enough to fully feel and release it. For example, you felt the need to cry while you were at work, but it wasn’t the right time to do so. So you choked back the tears, pushing them down, and replacing them with a smile. Now let me ask you, where did those tears and sadness go if they didn’t release from your body in the form of tears?

That’s a trick question. The tears and sadness didn’t go anywhere, they stayed with you.

When we feel something, if we are unable to release it, our body is kind enough to hold onto it for us until we are in a safe space to release and process. Now you can imagine what happens when you get caught up in daily life and don’t offer the opportunity for your feelings to release. 

You feel stressed out all the time.

You feel like you could burst at any moment.

You may start to cry for no reason during the day.

Your unfelt emotions bubble to the surface, looking to be acknowledged. Just as we like to be heard, so do our feelings. They are living and breathing energy, too.

This is why we bring our awareness to feeling and releasing the “stuff” that has been itching under the surface once we have created our safe foundation.

All of this feeling will lead us into month three, embodying our vision. The reason we focus on feeling and release in month two is so that we can create space within ourselves to call in our vision. The balancing act of learning to hold onto your vision is much simpler when we’re not trying to juggle our unfelt emotions on top of it.

Month three is all about feeling into the newfound space you have created and deciding to fill it intentionally with vision and purpose.

We close our container in month four with empowered action. Now that we have felt what it’s like to embody our highest self and purposeful vision, it’s time to take daily action to bring that vision into reality. Month four is focused on tuning into inspired action. Inspired action is when the universe nudges you with a thought, idea, job offer, or something else that seems serendipitous or coincidental. In month four we will also learn to navigate when our fear brain tries to pop in and run the show. Because naturally, when we are taking action that seems new and scary, our survival response kicks into overdrive and whispers, “but are you suuuuure you want to do this?”

These four months together take place through:

I combine one-on-one sessions with group sessions in this program because your healing journey needs both the personalized undivided attention of a unique one-on-one session AND the power of conscious community. The New Moon is all about new beginnings and getting clear on what it is we want to be calling in and aligning with this cycle. In celebration of this, we will come together via Zoom on the New Moon to explore what it is we are desiring in our life while putting together actionable steps in order to bring those desires to fruition. This ritual will be Reiki infused to assist in the manifestation of the energy we are calling into our lives.

Energetic healing with Distance Reiki + community support with story medicine [group ceremony]

Reiki is one of my favorite healing modalities because it can be used through time, space, and distance. This means that you can feel the unconditional restorative love of Reiki, even if we aren’t in the same room or even the same country as one another. Our Full Moon is dedicated to allowing Reiki to bring loving light to the places you need it most while concluding our session with story medicine. Story medicine is the practice of holding space for others in the circle to share, while also honoring the wisdom in sharing your own story. Often times all we need as humans is to be heard, seen, and felt by another. Story medicine is your time to be witnessed and supported.

Upon starting my life as an online entrepreneur, I decided to quit my corporate job and dive into the journey of discovering the life my heart wanted to live. And let me tell you, when you decide to take big action, the universe meets you with even bigger healing opportunities.
